Scary Granny: Horror Maze Escape Without Making a Sound

Updated 2026-11-02 · GameVault Guides

Scary Granny: Horror Maze Escape is hide-and-seek with your pulse as the timer. Granny hunts by sound, the maze reshuffles your plans, and the exit needs items that are never in the same place twice. The game is tense by design, but it is genuinely winnable with a plan — and the plan starts with being quiet.

Noise is the real health bar

Granny does not see well; she hears. Walking is safer than running, and running is loud enough to pull her across the map. Treat every sprint as a decision that costs noise you will want later. Move at walking pace by default, sprint only to break line of sight around a corner, and never sprint in a straight corridor she might be listening to.

Plan an item route, not an item hunt

Wandering into rooms hoping to find the key is how runs end. Instead, commit to a circuit: enter, check one or two likely spots, leave before Granny's patrol overlaps your position. If you clear your route and come up empty, reset to a known-safe corner and plan the next circuit from there. Slow circuits beat one greedy deep dive every time.

When she heads your way

  • Stop moving first — a still player is hard to hear.
  • Break line of sight before changing rooms; doorways are her favorite reading spot.
  • If hiding, hide before she enters the corridor, not after; hiding in view is just waiting to be found.

Quiet feet, planned circuits, early hides. The maze stops being a nightmare and becomes a route. Good luck in Scary Granny: Horror Maze Escape — you will need it once.
