RicoPop: How to Use Wall Bounces Like a Pool Player

Updated 2026-11-02 · GameVault Guides

RicoPop is a bubble shooter with a name that tells you its secret: the ricochet is the point. Anyone can pop a cluster that sits in a straight line. The players who clear boards efficiently are the ones who treat the side walls like a pool table — and the math for that is friendlier than it looks.

The mirror trick

To aim a bank shot, imagine the wall is a mirror: the target cluster's reflection appears behind the wall at the same depth. Aim at the reflection and the ball will bounce into the real cluster. One bounce is reliable with a little practice; two bounces are possible but honestly speculative. Build your game around single-bank accuracy and you will rarely need more.

When to bounce, when to shoot straight

  • Bounce when the direct line is blocked or the cluster hangs behind other bubbles.
  • Shoot straight when a cut shot can drop a cluster supporting others — cuts beat pops.
  • Never bounce into a tight gap unless the mirror line is exact; near-misses widen the ceiling.

Cut the support, not the cluster

The biggest clears come from cutting, not popping: find the bubble that connects a big cluster to the ceiling and pop that one connection. Everything below falls at once, and falling clusters clear on the way down. Bank shots are often the only way to reach a support bubble that sits behind other colors — which is exactly why the ricochet and the cut belong in the same plan.

Think like a pool player, hunt support bubbles, and boards start collapsing in twos and threes. Line up your first bank in RicoPop.
